What we believe
Our purpose is to reach Whittemore and Northeast Michigan with the light of the Gospel and to see lives established upon the Word of God.
The Bible
We believe the Bible has the answers to the questions we face each day. The Bible, best preserved for English-speaking people in the King James Version, is the perfect and inspired Word of God and the only authority for faith and practice.
God
We believe God is the Creator, Sustainer, Ruler, and ultimate Judge of all mankind.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is the perfect Son of God and the only acceptable sacrifice for our sin. He proved He is God by rising bodily from the dead, as no one else has done or can do.
Why Baptist?
We believe the doctrine and practice of the Baptists most closely holds to the plain teaching of the Bible and most closely resembles New Testament Christianity.
Christian living
We believe Christians are called to live in a way that honors Christ's name and bears witness to the Gospel in our community.
